Unloading the dishwasher
Do you have a chore you just hate? I do! It’s unloading the dishwasher! My mama made me start doing this when I was young. And, I’ve recently found out it was because she hated to-do it too! Now that I’m home more I cook (or at least prepare) two or three meals a day, six days a week. That’s a lot of dishes and a lot of times to unload. It’s a never ending chore and has to be done 1-2 times a day here. Watch out Little Belle, this will be your first chore too. Now, I am thankful I have a dishwasher because the one thing I hate more than unloading the dishwasher is hand washing dishes.

I hate handwashing dishes too! I’m glad that others run their dishwasher as much as we do. It’s ridiculous! I guess my most despised chore is folding laundry. It seems so pointless and endless. I used to really hate cleaning the bathroom but that was before I discovered Method cleansers!

We did not even have a dishwasher growing up! And I remember my Grandmother in front of the sink more than any where else in the house! Thank the good Lord that we have a dishwasher and fortunately we only run it every 2-3 days…

Ha Ha Heather!! Right now I stand in front of our dishwasher (laptop on counter) that has needed to be emptied since last night! I feel ya!!

I love hand washing dishes! I would rather hand wash them than run them through the dish washer!

Sorry for the torture at an early age. Maybe by the time Little Belle is old enough for that chore they will have come up with a way to get them back in the cabinet after they are dry. I still detest unloading the thing. It is sitting and waiting as I write this. Love ya!

I totally agree…. I hate unloading the dishwasher!!!!!!! I don’t mind filling it, but unloading? No way! Also I hate folding and putting clothes away, I don’t mind sorting, filling and switching, just folding and putting away. Simple chores, important chores, hated chores!!!!!
